COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS) ALERT

We continue to monitor the changing conditions related to COVID-19 throughout North America.  We are deeply concerned about our North American Pipe Band Community.  The ANAPBA strongly urges that pipers and drummers follow the recommendations of the Government of Canada Public-Health Services website at: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/health-professionals/mass-gatherings-risk-assesment.html and any additional provincial recommendations for those living in Canada, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control for those living in the United States (www.CDC.org/coronavirus) and the advice of their own state’s health department.

As events are extremely fluid, we recommend you take all safety precautions not only from your national health organizations but your local jurisdictions as well.  Contact your individual Pipe Band Association for additional information regarding games and events cancellations.

Kindest regards,

Robert MacNeil, Chairman ANAPBA
Jeffrey M. Mann, Executive Director ANAPBA
